چکیده
Social signal processing and virtual social interaction technologies have allowed the creation of skills training applications, initial studies shown that such solutions can lead to positive outcomes could complement traditional teaching methods by providing cheap, accessible, safe tools for skills. However, these evaluated systems as a whole it is unclear what extent which components contributed outcomes. In this paper, we describe an experimental study where compared relative efficacy real-time interactive feedback after-action in context public speaking application. We observed both provide benefits overall training: made experience more immersive improved participants’ motivation using system, while led when contained personalized elements. Taken combination, results confirm interactions are contributing systems’ efficiency. Additionally, several individual factors, here subjects’ level anxiety, personality tendency immersion significantly influenced experience. This finding suggests benefit from being tailored particular circumstances.

Real-Time Output Feedback Neurolinearization
An adaptive input-output linearization method for general nonlinear systems is developed without using states of the system. Another key feature of this structure is the fact that, it does not need model of the system. In this scheme, neurolinearizer has few weights, so it is practical in adaptive situations. Online training of neuroline...

متن کاملTime-delayed feedback in neurosystems.
The influence of time delay in systems of two coupled excitable neurons is studied in the framework of the FitzHugh-Nagumo model. A time delay can occur in the coupling between neurons or in a self-feedback loop. The stochastic synchronization of instantaneously coupled neurons under the influence of white noise can be deliberately controlled by local time-delayed feedback. By appropriate choic...
متن کاملTime-Delayed Quantum Feedback Control.
A theory of time-delayed coherent quantum feedback is developed. More specifically, we consider a quantum system coupled to a bosonic reservoir creating a unidirectional feedback loop. It is shown that the dynamics can be mapped onto a fictitious series of cascaded quantum systems, where the system is driven by past versions of itself. The derivation of this model relies on a tensor network rep...
متن کاملAdaptive tuning of feedback gain in time-delayed feedback control.
We demonstrate that time-delayed feedback control can be improved by adaptively tuning the feedback gain. This adaptive controller is applied to the stabilization of an unstable fixed point and an unstable periodic orbit embedded in a chaotic attractor. The adaptation algorithm is constructed using the speed-gradient method of control theory. Our computer simulations show that the adaptation al...
